The southern terminus of the Keihan Ishiyama Sakamoto Line, on the bank of the Seta river. Ishiyamadera temple, associated with Murasaki Shikibu, is within walking distance. It anchors the southern end of the line around southern Lake Biwa.
Access
Transfer from JR Ishiyama Station to Keihan Ishiyama Station and take the Ishiyama Sakamoto Line. Ishiyamadera has set opening hours and an admission fee; follow the photography notices inside the grounds.
