Hanasaku Iroha

Yuwaku Onsen, a historic hot spring village nestled in the mountains southeast of Kanazawa, served as the primary model for the fictional Kissuiso inn's setting in Hanasaku Iroha. The quiet mountain onsen town with its traditional ryokan, narrow lanes, and steaming baths perfectly captures the atmosphere of Ohana's new home and workplace.

Yuwaku Inari Shrine
Yuwaku Inari Shrine, located at the heart of the onsen village, is faithfully depicted in Hanasaku Iroha as the local shrine where the bonbori festival takes place. The small but atmospheric shrine surrounded by forest became so associated with the anime that the real Yuwaku Bonbori Festival was created in its honor.
