Jinbe Statue (Minamata City Eco Park)

A life-size statue of Jinbe stands in the Minamata City Eco Park, overlooking the Yatsushiro Sea. As the last of the 10 Kumamoto Revival Project statues to be unveiled, Jinbe's oceanic presence is fitting for this coastal city. Oda chose the Minamata Eco Park to honor the city's journey from environmental tragedy to ecological recovery, paralleling Jinbe's themes of reconciliation and living in harmony with nature.
