Nikko Toshogu Shrine

This historic shrine complex served as inspiration for several temple and shrine scenes throughout the series. The ornate architecture and sacred atmosphere of Toshogu influenced the design of spiritual locations where Inuyasha and his companions encounter various demons and seek purification.
