L'académie privée Hachimitsu était autrefois un prestigieux pensionnat réservé aux filles, situé en périphérie de Tokyo. Mais la nouvelle année scolaire apporte un changement majeur : pour la première fois, des garçons sont admis au sein de l'établissement. Or, lors de son premier jour à Hachimitsu, Kiyoshi Fujino découvre qu'il ne fait partie que de cinq garçons inscrits dans cette école. Face aux mille filles qui peuplent l'établissement, le paradis ou l'enfer attend-il ces cinq (mal)heureux ?
