諫山創先生が小中高生時代に通っていた美容院。多くのコミック本が置かれており、漫画を読んだことが進撃の巨人誕生のきっかけとも言われる。先生のサインも飾られている。

Creator Hajime Isayama grew up in Hita, Oita Prefecture. The narrow streets and preserved Edo-era merchant buildings of Mameda Town are said to have inspired the claustrophobic atmosphere of life within the Walls in the early chapters.

While not directly featured in Attack on Titan, Beppu's dramatic steaming landscape and "hells" (jigoku) evoke the intense atmosphere of the anime. A must-visit when in the Oita area.

Life-size statues of Levi, young Eren, and young Mikasa gaze out over the dam wall. The massive concrete structure evokes Wall Maria, and the surrounding mountain landscape adds to the immersion in the world of Attack on Titan.

The museum in the Mameda historical district features original artwork, production materials, and life-size Titan models. Located in the atmospheric Edo-period merchant district where creator Isayama grew up nearby.

The riverside hot spring district serves as the ideal base for Attack on Titan pilgrimages in Hita. While not directly in the anime, the traditional ryokan atmosphere complements the journey through Isayama's hometown.

エレン・ミカサ・アルミンの銅像が設置されている。大山ダムをウォールマリアの壁に見立て、超大型巨人が街に攻め込んできたシーンを再現したスポット。

日田市大山町の観光名所。以前は進撃の巨人の展示物があったが現在はミュージアムに移動。温泉宿泊施設や梅酒工場なども併設。

作者・諫山創先生が高校時代にアルバイトをしていた場所。日田名物の日田焼きそばを味わえる。水曜日定休。
