Second cours de Tokyo Ghoul:re. Kaneki Ken a enfin retrouvé les souvenirs de son ancien lui, mais le voilà à nouveau à la croisée des chemins, en pleine guerre entre humains et goules. Coiffé d'une paire de lunettes en clin d'œil à son mentor Arima, il se voit confier l'interrogatoire d'Eto, le « Hibou borgne ». Cette dernière a révélé sa nature de goule en pleine conférence de presse pour la sortie de son nouveau roman, qu'elle présente comme un pont entre les deux camps en guerre. Désormais, elle est sous les verrous.
