Shuuichi Kagaya n'est pas humain. Il possède un odorat surhumain et peut se transformer en une créature d'une puissance extraordinaire... du moins de quelque sorte. Il fait tout son possible pour passer inaperçu et ne pas être découvert, mais la bonne action ne reste jamais impunie. En décidant d'utiliser ses pouvoirs pour sauver une jeune fille, il met fin à sa vie tranquille.
