À Tokyo de nos jours, trois sans-abri voient leur vie transformée à jamais lorsqu'ils découvrent une petite fille abandonnée dans une décharge le réveillon de Noël. Alors que le Nouvel An approche rapidement, ces trois oubliés de la société s'unissent pour résoudre le mystère de l'enfant abandonnée et du destin de ses parents. En chemin, des rencontres avec des événements et des personnes apparemment sans lien les forcent à affronter leurs propres passés douloureux, tandis qu'ils apprennent à faire face à leur avenir, ensemble.
