This correctional facility in Tokyo served as the primary inspiration for the Shonan Special Reform School depicted in Rainbow. The imposing concrete walls and institutional architecture closely match the oppressive atmosphere of the juvenile detention center where the seven protagonists are imprisoned.

Shinjuku Kabukicho
The neon-lit entertainment district of Kabukicho serves as inspiration for several nighttime scenes in PERSONA5 the Animation. This area's vibrant atmosphere and distinctive signage capture the urban energy that reflects the game's Tokyo setting.

Shonan Beach
The coastal area of Shonan represents freedom and hope in Rainbow, contrasting with the confined prison environment. Several scenes show characters dreaming of or eventually reaching this symbolic beachfront that represents their aspirations for a better life.
