Toutes les filles n'obtiennent pas ce qu'elles désirent pour leurs 16 ans, mais le cadeau de Kobeni est quelque chose qu'elle n'aurait jamais imaginé : un mariage arrangé ! Grâce à son grand-père décédé, Kobeni est fiancée depuis l'enfance à un parfait inconnu, et même si elle prétend l'avoir rencontré, elle ne se souvient absolument de rien à son sujet. Le plus étrange encore, c'est que sa mère et sa sœur Benio, qui s'avère être étrangement surprotectrice, semblent complètement indifférentes à l'arrivée du futur marié, Hakuya, et de sa jeune sœur, Mashiro, chez la famille.
