Deuxième saison de Kanojo, Okarishimasu. Désespéré, l'étudiant Kazuya Kinoshita rencontre Chizuru Ichinose, une élégante petite amie à louer, et finit par la présenter à sa famille et à ses amis comme sa vraie copine. Incapable d'avouer la vérité, il se retrouve entouré de Mami Nanami, son ex au caractère diabolique qui revient toujours pour le tenter, de Ruka Sarashina, hyper-agressive « copine provisoire » qui ne supporte pas qu'on lui dise non, et de la timide colocataire de Chizuru.
