Échangé à la naissance avec l'enfant d'une autre famille, le lycéen Nagi Umino s'apprête enfin à rencontrer ses parents biologiques. Le jour du rendez-vous, il croise par hasard Erika Amano, lycéenne d'un prestigieux établissement pour filles fortunées. À sa demande pressante, il accepte à demi-contraint de se faire passer pour son petit ami afin qu'elle évite un mariage arrangé. Or, non seulement ils sont les deux bébés échangés autrefois, mais ils sont aussi fiancés l'un à l'autre ! Les deux familles, attendries, observent leur drôle de situation.
