Dans l'histoire, Takezou est le dernier membre restant du club de koto, un club consacré à l'instrument à cordes traditionnel japonais. S'il ne trouve pas de nouveaux membres, le club de koto sera fermé. Un jour, alors que Takezou est seul dans la salle du club, un étudiant débarque et exige de rejoindre le groupe. Cet étudiant est Chika Kudou, un délinquant qui fait même peur aux anciens délinquants d'autres écoles.
