Pendant les vacances d'été, Shizuku, une collégienne désireuse de découvrir son véritable talent, observe un chat d'apparence ordinaire qui voyage seul dans le train. Intriguée, elle décide de le suivre. Cette rencontre fortuite la conduit au mystérieux Seiji, un garçon résolu à poursuivre ses rêves, et au Baron, une figurine magique de chat qui l'aide à écouter les murmures de son cœur.
